Training Programs

Any radiation emitting device can be considered to have some associated hazard - by today's standards. Hazards require training and Radiation Technology understands the challenges you face. We have the experience in your industry with courses that will provide the tools you need to establish and maintain an effective radiation safety program that complies with regulatory and license requirements and provides a safer work place for employees.

You can select from one or more of our comprehensive training courses for individuals and companies. We can help you select a course that is best suited to your site needs and to ensure that your training dollars are invested for a maximum return:

• Awareness—Basic information for general population or Hazcom training.
• Technician—Designed for personnel working under supervision of RSO or Authorized Users.
• Regulatory update & Implementation—"Hands-on" interpretation of regulatory requirements and implementation of site radiation protection program.
• Authorized User—Designed for personnel who will either perform or supervise licensed activities.
• RSO—Designed for those individuals with some technical background and training, but new to industrial radiation safety. Presents sufficient material in a "hands-on" fashion so that individuals can establish a reliable radiation safety program.
• Advanced RSO - For individuals with sufficient background and training to extend license conditions.
  • Develop response teams
  • Present onsite training, etc.

This more comprehensive program is tailored for RSO's with larger responsibilities.

 

All training courses will be scheduled at convenient locations throughout the U.S., or can be customized for individual plant sites.
